Puck is Owned by our good friend Eric Teson of Show-Me Retrievers outside of Columbia MO. I met Eric when I began training at Flatlander Kennels in early 2019. I remember the breeding that produced Puck along with several other great dogs. I kick myself for not getting a puppy from that litter for BCR. He's not the only one who is a Grand Champion from that pairing. And there will be more!
Eric also owns The Most Titled Yellow Male in History. How far Puck goes will be interesting to watch. We lost Voodoo's mother prematurely with gastric issues. So we are very careful not to repeat the past. Voodoo was hand raised from 2 weeks old. Now she always eats from a slow feed bowl.
Voodoo has really turned it on! I think she needed to mature a little bit. She's so much like her Mother in so many ways. I am taking my time because I feel that I rushed her mother a little and I wasn't as experienced of a trainer as I am now. Her focus and intensity are now in full effect! She absolutely wants to go get her marks and runs with authority. We love her athleticism and fun-loving affectionate nature! Her best friend is our Rottweiler karma.
