BCR is located East of the sleepy little village of Lewellen Nebraska and overlooks the sandy beaches of Lake McConaughy. We're in the Panhandle Of Nebraska a short 3 hour drive from Denver and in the heart of the Central Flyway.
Literally, just a few wing beats from the infamous North Platte River.
We are geographically located in the middle of the Country. We have puppies in 36+ States, Alberta and British Columbia Canada.
We believe that Labrador Retrievers come in three colors! Black, Yellow and Chocolate and would never knowingly place one of our puppies in a Dilute home!
Before I decide to breed any of our girls they must measure up to our standards and the practices and standards that promote the betterment of the breed. Every one of our girls will be tested and screened for common hereditary issues. In addition, we only breed to Sires that we can verify their status or are free of undesirable traits including but not limited to Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC) and Centro Nuclear Myopathy (CNM). We also screen hips and eyes and register the results with OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals). We take into account breed standards, accomplishments, attitude, intelligence, train ability, style and desire. Titles are a major factor in consideration!
