We are hoping Haze cycles soon, but not too soon! Louis and his owner Mike are headed to St.Louis for the 2024 Fall Grand. We have a backup plan! I always do!

The letters preceding Hazy's Sire were new to me, so I dove into gaining the meaning. They represent the Super Retriever Series. Smoke won the Super Retriever Series Amateur Crown Championship in 2018. I used to enjoy watching the SRS on ESPN back in the day. I never would have guessed then that we would be where we are today. The lesson to follow our dream came later in life but we are living it now.
Louis caught my eye the first time I saw him running and HRC Finished Test. He has been 100% Amateur trained and handled. He has multiple Gand Passes and earned 1000 points to join the coveted HOF. He is a very stylish and great looking medium build dog. Louis is super talented and a Team Player.
Sometimes I call Haze "Crazy Hazy" and it's a term of endearment! First off, she is very affectionate and loves jumping into my lap. Often without warning. She loves to retrieve anything. As soon as She's let out, she looks for sticks, branches or even logs. Anything that she can use to taunt the rest of the pack with.
I'm very pleased with her progress and level of training. She is still in transition and learning how to be a Big Dog. Her recent title of Started Hunting Retriever was easily earned as her ability level is closer to Senior or Seasoned. Thats the level we will be running with her in 2025.
