Toots has an interesting story! She is owned by James Shea and was just supposed to be a replacement duck dog. When James began training her at his local duck club, she caught the attention of fellow club members. They really liked what they saw and began inviting James and Toots to train with them. Several members had experience training "Field Trial" Dogs. Toots is a different color than the preferred color of most Field Trial communities, but they couldn't ignore Her talent. Shortly after Duck Season ended Toots began her Feild Trial Derby Career and qualified fairly early in 2024. Toots was a fierce competitor on the circuit garnering a lot of attention. James has been offered a handsome sum of money which thankfully he has turned down. She has a very bright future ahead of her and we are very excited to be a small part of it! 

James has been keeping us informed with Toot's accomplishments. She had a very productive Duck Season and has departed for Southern GA. for training in preparation for the 2025 Feild Trial season. To say, we are excited is an understatement!
Ember & Red​
This is a wonderful cross between some of the greatest National Field Champions and National Amateur Field Champions in history and Hunt Test Greats. Blacks and Chocolates expected towards the end of February.  
​They could have pretty good horsepower to go along with a team player mentality as well! It's a great pairing and it's just a matter of time before Red earns his GRHRCH. He has his first pass already. Ember is halfway to completing her Master Hunter Title and should wrap it up in 2025.
