"Dice" & "Trouble"
Chilli is our third generation girl bred right here at BCR. She's from the 2017 Dice/Trouble litter the "Tenacious Ten". Her Father Dice was the very first Grand Hunting Retriever Champion titled by Chris Jobman of Flatlander Kennels Inc. We have high hopes for our Chilli Dog! She has a bit of stubbornness but so do I! She earned her Started and Junior titles fairly quick. We took a break from training her but once we made the decision to teach her to handle it didn't take all that long! Chilli prefers marks over blinds, but she gets the job done. She finished her Hunting Retriever Title in July 2022. We continue training advanced concepts and has 2 passes towards earning her HRCH. We will pick up those last 2 in 2024.
Chilli has also proven to be a very good mother having whelped three litters. Many of those dogs are already playing their own Hunt Test Games having earned their own HR and HRCH titles besides picking up lots of ducks and geese for their owners.
Chilli is a great looking and you wouldn't think so, but she's 60# and still looks thin. She could easily carry 70# and look great. Handles geese without thinking twice.
