Toots has an interesting story! She is owned by James Shea and was just supposed to be a replacement duck dog. When James began training her at his local duck club, she caught the attention of fellow club members and Field Trailers. They really liked what they saw and began inviting James and Toots to train with them. Toots is a different color than the preferred color of most Field Trial enthusiast, but they couldn't ignore Her talent. Shortly after Duck Season ended Toots began her Feild Trial Derby Career and qualified fairly early in 2024. Toots was a fierce competitor on the circuit garnering a lot of attention. James has been offered a handsome sum of money which thankfully he has turned down. She has a very bright future ahead of her and we are very excited to be a small part of it! 

Ember & Red​ 2.o
Repeat breeding should take place the first of September.

The difference is Red is now a Grand Hunting Retriever Champion and Ember is now a Master Hunter.


This is a wonderful cross between some of the greatest National Field Champions and National Amateur Field Champions in history and Hunt Test Greats. Blacks and Chocolates expected, and ​They could have pretty good horsepower to go along with a team player mentality as well!
